I have a 15 year old Kohler toilet that this fit perfectly. A little Vaseline applied made it a smooth install. Works flawlessly. It’s worth the extra to buy Kohler. The foam ring is nearly impossible to get to fit, especially with these toilets that have small tanks not allowing for much room or leverage to muscle it in. I ended up having to use the old foam ring as it was still in decent shape and the foam was already indented and fit well. The rest of the install was easy. Not much to say...I received a genuine Kohler product as a direct replacement for the parts that went bad. There are no directions IIRC, but it was pretty self explanatory. Only tip that might be confusing/frustrating is that the rubber base needs firm downwards pressure as you turn it into place. I had to get my palm on it, finger pressure isn’t enough. The pressure allows the seal to fit correctly but there isn’t a lot of room if you have larger hands...but you probably already noticed this when taking out the old parts.Just an FYI as someone could easily think the seal was defective.Needed to use olive oil on sleeve to stretch it over hole. Soaking in Boiling water did not work. Had to hire plumber.Easy to install. After visually confirming what I received match what I had, I turned off the water, drained the tank, removed the old flapper, cut off the foam seal ring. Then turned the "tower" a quarter turn and removed it. If you wet the new foam gasket and put it on new tower, you can press down and turn to lock in place fairly easily. From there on it is just installing the flapper and chain. In my installation everything arrived in perfect condition and saved enough water that it paid for itself in two months. The part is a genuine Kohler replacement part and the price was reasonable. Received the item on the date promised. Very happy with the product.Worked as advertised, pretty easy to use. Gives you lots if flexibility on where you place the sink and its height. This method is also good because you can set up the sink in place before your countertops are installed. The only downfall to this type of sink mounting system is that there's no easy way to remove it once the countertop is in place.excellent replacement partPerfect!
