Smaller than I anticipated, so I'll need to empty it more often but that's okay because it's very easy to do. My old model that was much bigger finally stopped working after +10 years, and it was a refurbished model.This is the best vacuum I've ever owned. Do read the instructions because it has a lot of hidden features.Great small upright vacuum that sucks like the devil! Excellent machine!
