2-Piece Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit - Lint Brush & Vacuum Hose for Efficient Cleaning

My lint trap kept sticking out a little, making it difficult for the dryer door to close. I researched what the cause may be and it suggested I do a thorough clean of my lint trap. I had heard about this product, read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. It cleaned out more lint than I expected. The lint trap went right back into place and no longer sticks out. The whole process took 5 minutes!My three year old Maytag started to not dry clothes in normal time and a friend recommended this vent cleaning kit. She said that the kit with the brush was best & she's right! I was worried as my lint filter is the thinnest one I've seen, and deep. The kit fits easily over vacuum nozzle, but the end that actually goes into the vent is under a foot long and very narrow - good for me, because it fit a one inch opening. The suction of the vacuum instantly pulled a few handfuls of lint up, but they were way too big to be sucked into the tiny nozzle and had to be removed by hand. The long skinny brush is crucial as it is sized to be pushed in deeper than the vacuum nozzle can reach and it also breaks up stuff clumping on the sides. Lint clings to the brush well and you can fish lint out with it, then vacuum again. That being said, this purchase paid for itself with it's first use. I took out several handfuls of lint from the machine base of the lint filter and a few more from where the dryer vents outdoors. Without the obstruction my dryer works perfectly and as a homeowner, I'm putting this chore on rotation every six months in the future for energy efficiency and fire prevention. Gave product four stars as both nozzle and brush should be combined for best results.PatThis tool is a must if you have a lint filter that doesn’t fit. After many ruined clothes someone suggested this kit. It was suggested that I clean the filter vent in my Kenmore dryer, which I did faithfully. The problem is that you can’t see the lint buildup that is causing the lint filter not to fit. The picture shows what I cleaned out that clogged the tubing. Here was much more that I got out with the brush.I really enjoyed the bristle brush because that was able to get right on in there and get things loose at which point then the suction was able to get it out. I was really impressed and I’m taking it over to my mom’s to clean hers out!This was useful for cleaning out years of built-up lint and gunk from the dryer in our new home. The tube was small enough to get into the dryer, but the small size meant it got clogged often and had to be cleaned out. Still very helpful.Cleanest my dryer filter has ever been with the least effort (and I have tried everything I could think of!)! Fit great on my Shark Nino cordless lift away vac. Even used it on some other hard-to-reach areas! Great value , highly recommend!It took a bit of finessing to get this attachment on my Shark vacuum, but in the end it worked out and I was able to successfully clean my dryer lint trap.Overall the product was very easy to use and I would recommend it.It works. Suction is decent. It didn’t stay on my shop vac that well. But it was cheap and seemed to clean out the dryerProbably the most worthwhile purchase I had this year. I clean my lint trap everything I use the dryer, but I can still some stuck on the hard to reach corners, so I bought this to get those. To my surprise, there is much more stuck in other not seen places, I end up getting out enough lint to fill my dyson's canister!!! I love this thing.My experience is not positive. It is one of these products that look like very good one and at the end is very much unneeded. Do pay attention about the high pitch noise - it is horrendous. This product is way overpraised for what it does. It is a bit too big to fit nicely in the dryer vent from the front. The hose at the end that sucks (or blows) is rather long and not flexible.My suggestion is - just buy a small workshop (industrial) vacuum. It has all the needed parts and you can use it for much more.This product had 8k+ reviews when I purchased it. I am completely failing to see what good these reviewers found in it.By the way - it is being sold for about 27 CAD. If you find it for under 10 CAD (because you don't have attachment for the vacuum) - maybe - and you will have to live with the high pitch noise that can scare everyone around.I cannot believe there has never been a fire!!I rent a home that has a washer/dryer but the dryer has never worked very well even though it’s a newer one. I know the guy who used to live here wasn’t the cleanest person so I have done above and beyond cleaning on everything that he used to use but OMG !!!! The amount of lint/stuff I just sucked out of the lint trap and back of the dryer is unreal !!! I haven’t done the indoor tubing or the outside vent yet as I had to take a break.Review on actual product: It is so easy to use and clean! The tube isn’t as long as I was hoping but it gets where you need it to go. I do wish it was a bit wider only because it got clogged a few times. It attaches to my shark vacuum perfectly. The brush is a bit flimsy in the handle but again it gets where you need it to go! Definitely recommend this to everyone!(Container size shown in pic: 4L ice cream tub)I was reluctant as there seems to be mixed reviews. For me it worked great. I have a Dyson v6 Slim handheld. Reviews says it doesn’t fit but if you attach the crevice tool to your Dyson just like the instructions say it gives full suction. While the plastic is not rubber and fully flexible it was still able to bend and adjust as I jammed it into the lint trap area.To my surprise it filled the Dyson to the max on the first go. And I always clean the lint trap.It also fits nicely in the bottom dryer drawer thing.So it works. Nuff said.Works well. I was almost able to do it with the accessories that came with my vacuum but fell short. This allowed me to get right in dryer as well as the vent. I was shocked at the amount of lint that actually came out of my dryer and vent. It is a little expensive for what it is; a plastic hose and a brush.
