I got hooked on cordless vacuums a few years ago, but have had challenges with effectiveness and battery-charge length. This model is IT! I use it in the first level of my home. This includes two bedrooms, a living room, a family room, and a kitchen that have wood floors. It also has a laundry room, two bathrooms, and a hearth that are tiled. most of my throw rugs are the very thin, washable modern type. I also have one wool rug with a 3/4-inch pile that it vacuums very well. I have a medium-sized dog with long, thick hair that sheds periodically.This powerful stick vacuum takes care of all these surfaces. It will do all seven rooms plus the stairs with one charge. It has never run out of me while I used it. the head of the vacuum is very wide and easy to clean after each use. The LED display lets me know which mode it is in. It is light and easy to carry arround. The filter is washable and everything is easy to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. I keep a heavy canister vacuum upstairs because we have two carpeted bedrooms up there, but it weighs four times as much, is awkward to use, and has a cord. I just leave it there.I like the light that helps me see the dirt and dog hair, too. I am very happy that I got this hard-working tool. I have purchased from Orfeld before. They are very responsive in regard to trouble-shooting for problems and honor their warranties. This model is worth the extra money for additional features, battery lenght and suction power.Update: Support reached out to me and was really great.For a stick vacuum at this price point, it probably suctions well enough. I can pick up a lot and it is SO much easier than dragging out my heavy canister vacuum for a quick clean. It's also really easy for when you want to do something like vacuum the stairs. If you want something that really cleans though, you'll probably want something with a bit more of a motor. I broke a glass and it wasn't great picking that up. This cannot be your only vacuum. I also should point out the battery lasts maybe 20 minutes, max. It then takes all day to recharge. You can't just charge it for an hour and go again. Lastly, you can't get around the battery by trying to plug in the charger and vacuum while charging. It won't turn on when charging.So, moral of the story, good for small apartments when you want to quickly clean before guests arrive or just do one or two rooms. It probably cannot be your only vacuum.This vacuum is IT - I live in 500sf apartment, all hardwood floor, tile, and area rugs with one VERY sheddy medium hair cat. He is an angel but oh my god, the hair. It drives me to drink. Hauling out my super heavy Shark vacuum was getting so aggravating I'd dread cleaning, it felt like overkill for such a modest space.Enter this lil guy - I was worried how much hair and dirt it would pick up off the floors - often attachments that aren't hard floor specific leave tracks of dust. LISTEN.... this thing grabs every cat hair. I love it. I can clean all of the floors and furniture in my apartment, and dust most surfaces, on one charge. I clean every day for fun now. It is also very lightweight, easy to maneuver, and simple to mount to the wall. The suction is not crazy strong like an upright plugin vacuum, but I only have low pile area rugs (no deep shag rugs) so it is more than sufficient for my needs. Anything that doesn't get sucked up on the lower setting has picked up with the higher speed setting! Even cereal and all crumbs on the kitchen floor.I've vacuumed my space about 4x before emptying the canister - it is small, but very easy to open and empty. The power button is at the top of the handle grip, so can be easy to hit it & turn off vacuum when you're operating it - so far this is my only negative. And honestly it is super easy to avoid doing once you're aware of it!I've only had this for about 2 weeks, so we will see how it ages, but so far I would absolutely recommend this to pet owners fighting the never ending hair battle, or people who just want to clean their small spaces with ease! Even for spot cleaning in a larger home, this thing would be great.I don't usually write reviews but relied heavily on them to select this vacuum and so glad I did, so I wanted to add the extra positive feedback in! If you are thinking of getting it, do it!I love this vacuum! I read a lot of reviews before purchasing that seemed to be using it for deep cleaning a full house and it is just not built for that. This may not hold up to high pile carpets or homes with pets and the battery is only about 30-40 mins.I use it for day to day upkeep of a mid size apartment with mostly carpet and it is great. I had to clean broken glass out of my car when my window got smashed and that was the true test and it held up well. Definitely worth the purchase depending on how you intend to use it but for my needs it is great and the price can’t be beat!This vaccuum is great! It performs just as well as that other very expensive brand, but at a much lower cost. The assembly can be a bit difficult (I always forget that I have to remove the battery), but other than that it is wonderful. One of the best purchases I ever made on Amazon!I find myself grabbing this vacuum over my heavy Kirby. It’s cordless so and lightweight so it’s easier for quick cleanups and hardwood floors / tile. I don’t think it replaces a good carpet vacuum though. The canister doesn’t hold a lot of pet hair so I’ll bust out my Kirby for carpets. I’ve noticed it doesn’t do much on carpets unless I’m turbo which drains the battery a lot faster. It took some getting used to not holding my finger on the trigger button which turns the vacuum off a different position would be a better design feature but overall a good little vacuum. I use it most days to do quick cleans and on the stairs (which is the main reason I bought it)Used my regular vacuum which a pretty decent model. Just had to have this one when I seen it. In one square footage of carpet that had just been vacuumed, I filled the container on this vacuum up twice more. Excellent with dog hair and getting deep into your carpets!Die Saugkraft ist OK. Das Gerät ist sehr leicht, was mir entgegen kommt, Die Saugdauer ist ausreichend. Ich hatte vorher einen Philips Akku-Sauger mit 60 min Laufzeit-habe das nie ausgenützt! Das teure Gerät hat nach knapp 3 Jahren den Geist aufgegeben. ( Akku) und war sehr schwer. Ich hoffe der Neue hält länger. Ein Mangel für mich- der Staubbehälter ist ein bisschen zu klein geraten. Preis/Leistung ist in Ordnung. Sauger ist zu empfehlen.Bin 1,80m. Das Gerät erreicht gerade so den Boden, wenn ich es in der Hand- und gerade runter neben meinem Fuß halte. Bewege ich es um 5cm + von meinem Fuß weg, muss ich mich bücken, oder krümmen. Einfach zu klein und somit unbrauchbar. Gibt keine verstellmöglickeit.Wer 1,70m ist, dem wird die größe wohl ausreichen. Aber für jemanden der 1,80m ist.Man sollte den Sauger doch zumindest mal 10-15cm weg bewegen dürfen, ohne sich großartig krum machen zu müssen. Bewertungen sind anscheinend auch nicht mehr das Wert, was sie mal waren. Werde mir nun doch wieder den holen, den ich für meinen Hauptwohnsitz geholt hatte, für 400€ +. Wenig ausgeben hört sich zwar gut an, sich dann aber ständig darüber zu ärgern und den Restbetrag mit seinen Nerven zu zahlen, über Jahre... Naja, muss jeder selber wissen. Für mich ist es ein NoGo und unnötig, werde es leider zurückschicken müssen.Ja ich habe ihn nur auf kurzfloorigen Teppichen verwendet,selbst mit der zugeschalteten Energie musste ich ewig hin und her eh nur annähernd ein Ergebnis zu sehen ist,wenn ich nicht so faul wär würde ich ihn zurückschicken.Habe ihn nach den Bewertungen ausgesucht-also die können nicht real sein.Nach dem ich erst einen Handstaubsauger für 30 Euro zurückschickte wegen katastroph. Saugleistung,bestellte ich den ORFELD EV-679 für 119 Euro. Schon die gesamte Verpackung war 1A.Zusammenbau war kein grosses Problem. Nur die Walzenbürste war ein wenig problem.Schade das es in der Hauptsache keine Standhalterung gibt, die Wandhalterung ist für Mietwohnungen nicht unbeding ideal... Was die Saugleistung und Geräusch angeht einfach super beim 1. Versuch.Laden des Akkus mit 3-4 Std. auch noch o.k. Zur Leistung des Akkus kann ich noch nichts sagen, da beim 1.Versuch nur ca. 5 Minuten gesaugt wurde. Ich bin Überzeugt das ich einen guten Kauf getätigt habe.
