This new production Tungsol 6SL7 tube is manufactured at their Xpo-Pul factory (also known as Reflektor) in Saratov, Russia. New Sensor is an American corporation and since taking ownership of this factory has been steadily improving the quality of current production tubes.

Not only were these tubes well tested/matched...they also sound great.I recently bought not only these New Sensor Tung Sol branded 6SL7's but also a set of tested/matched RCA NOS JAN blackplates... these win in my preamp in both the gain stages and the EQ stage. I really like these. Compared to the RCA's which were lovely and had rich warm lows and mids these sound really nice, clean and clear with better high end extension and more gain on tap. No noticeable microphonics either. With tube rolling differences are subtle, but the difference was noticeable by everyone in my band for their clarity and tone.
